The Taxation & Revenue Office is a Tesuque Tribal Government office that administers the collection of tax revenue, business licenses and liquor ordinances.  The Office also assist in the regulation of economic activity within  the Pueblo’s jurisdiction and ensure the protection of Tribal Sovereignty rights as they apply to state and locally imposed taxes and fees.

 

The Office ensures that all vendors engaged in business on the Tesuque Reservation are licensed and appropriate fees are collected.  The Office also ensures that all Retail Liquor establishments and Alcohol Servers are properly licensed and/or permitted.  The Office collects the Cigarette Tax, the Gasoline Tax, the Liquor Excise Tax, the Land Use Tax and the Tribal Gross Receipts Tax.
